How to make this "fit thing" stick.

Forget perfection mentality.


Don't try to be perfect. Don't try to have every meal planned out. Don't try to workout 7 days a week. That thinking will set you up for constant "starting over".


Instead - focus on making better moment-by moment choices. And give your best for THAT day - whatever you have in your tank that day.

Stop starting over.


You end up sucking down a venti sugar heavy drink for breakfast because you are running late.


DO NOT think "ohhh I'll just start over tomorrow" or "I'll start over on Monday". Doing that will send you into a constant state of weeks flying by of "do-overs".


Instead - focus on making a better decision the NEXT decision you have to make.

Give what you can.


Have a fussy baby up all night? Stayed up late finishing a project?


Focus on giving what you can that day. If you have 10 minutes to stretch then pull out the bodi app - click filters - and filter to 10 minutes.


If you don't have time to go to the grocery store then pick the healthiest option (thats going to make you feel the best) from the take out menu. Assess where you are at that day and give what you can.

5 ways to feel better NOW.

Be mindful.


Focus on whats around you. Do 30 seconds of deep breathing. Put your phone down (NO SCROLLING).


Sprinkle some gratitude.


Text someone that you love them, or that you are thankful for them. This immediately puts me in a place of abundance.


Grab a glass of lemon or cucumber water.


I've been keeping a bottle of lemon juice in my fridge to add to my water and let me tell you how much better my water consumption has been!


Get Outside.


Even a 5 minute walk (or heck, stand in the rain) can boost your mood.


Make it feel normal.


If you are feeling anxious or like a situation is out of your control try to normalize it. for me this looks like (me talking to myself saying) "well, this is normal if you consider ______ that I've been through" - and now I get to choose how this goes from here on out.

Focus on fuel.

I'm not going to "sell" you on supplements.

I'm simply going to tell you that if you want maximum results from the work you are putting in, maximum energy, and to maximize and save you time then you need good clean supplements. Period.

Your superfood smoothie.


This has ALL the goodness in it that you would spend a FORTUNE on if you were to buy the ingredients separately. This is your every day - fill the gap in our nutrition - improve skin, hair, mood and energy smoothie.


All natural pre-workout.


I begin my day with 20oz of water and a scoop of this (read - I DO NOT start my day sucking down coffee). This gives you the pep before your workout.


Prioritize your protein.


Protein. Most of us don't get enough of it. And if you've been wondering why you aren't seeing your body tone and tighten this could be your missing ingredient. I drink this directly after my workout.


Granola bars.


These are the cleanest, highest protein, lowest sugar granola bar. No comparison. I keep them in my car, in our home, in my parents home, in my sisters home - you get the point. If I am starving or my 2 year old is starving and we are short on time then I grab this.


For some reason lunch is the struggle around here so in case you are in the same boat here are some lunch recipes that my family has been loving (yes - these are over and above the recipes in your meal plan ;) ).

Here is the thing - life can get in the way of our best laid plans and that is where the personal touch of a partner (me) comes in.

The personal touch is something that a youtube workout, celebrity pdf guide or even a group fitness class can't give you.


That is why doing this is one of the joys of my life. To help you succeed - to help you feel good because when we feel good we are kinder to our spouses, more patient with our children and just a better person.


I've been doing at-home health and fitness for over 15 years. This system has worked through all the phases of my life from working 40 hrs a week in corporate to becoming a mom and everywhere in between.
